screw brussels! hate brussels!

Would be fine if hotel wifi worked even in lobby but it doesn't! BAH

am on street poaching wifi but just realized I ahve gone an awfullly long way down hill from hotel and don't speak french. All possible cafes have a lot of stairs. where is... even a library? something? this cafe i am outside of is possible i just have to haul my ass very conspicuously up the little steps with my cane and like 12 strange people will come worry over me in french.

i will go in... there are nice pastries. pray the wifi inside works and i can camp there for a few good hours of work.

*damn* If I'd been a bit less overwhelmed with exams, I could have brought you to our house (about 30 min from Brussels), well, accompanied you on the train, where you could have had all the wifi you could ask for.

Oh it would be SO good to meet you after so long! I am here till tomorrow at about 6am!

But, I have only about 3 brain cells turned on, from the jet lag!

So far all the tiny pastries are about to give me a heart attack they're so good. also every single other thing i've eaten in this town!

*sniffle* I think I won't be able to make it - if there had been more time tomorrow, I might have chanced it. (Exams are over, but I've built in a few too many post-exam activities to easily exit and pop on over to Brussels.)

Have a GREAT trip, and I'll cross my fingers that you get another time before the decade is over....
