So, a person from Staffnord just called me,

http://www.stanfordhospital.com/clinicsmedServices/COE/neuro/movementDisorders/makeAnAppointment.html

From the number listed for movement disorders clinic,

Which is ACTUALLY the number for cardiology. So I think that half the time yesterday, I was talking to cardiology and didn't know it. Also, this chick tried to transfer me to urology. I kind of wonder if the other half the time yestrday I was talking to urology not neurology?

SCREAMMMMMMMM!!!!!!

Just got voicemail from my doctor. They gave the incorrect home phone to the neuro clinic. It hasn't been my home phone for quite a while. So they are going to try and correct it. I think. In the meantime, Staffnord "might have trouble contacting me." Oh, you think?

Also, they need more info from the UCSF ALS clinic. Luckily i have the direct number for the records person there.

I am instructed to call back after 1:30 to tell my doctor's office staff this information. What do you think they will do with it when they have it? Lose it? Forget? Mix it up? Send it to Mars? Wait a week, then tell me they don't know what I'm talking about when I call to check?

LOLLLLL!!

In pleasant contrast with everywhere else. I called Records at USCF clinic, got the voicemail of the records person whose name I know, but her voicemail gave me another (named) person's number. She picked up her phone, looked me up, and within like 30 seconds EMAILED ME MY RECORDS and also faxed a copy to my doctor and the Staffnord clinic. Now that is smart and helpful! I wrote her a thank you note. Thanks again Carolyn!
