I'm going to commit to keep up this blog on DIY accessibility hacks:

Anyone want to post there, even just once in a while: register yourself and let me know, and I'll enable you as a blog author. I can make you a nifty little avatar if you send me a photo or a link to a photo you don't mind using.

I want more engineers and hard core inventors too, and i'll write posts about their stuff and sites, but the hacks I come up with are usually very simple and craft based, so that's what I'm starting off with.

BTW it looks like the Instructables contest is going to happen this fall. I'm super excited about that!

Let's see if I actually keep this up. New resolution:

- every morning when I wake up I do some knee and ankle massage on myself
- Then do tiny pedals-only exercise bike for 5-10 min (obviously less if I can't) AND while I do it I can play ipod or g1 games or read news on the G1

- While on computer, use Time Out to:
-- every 10 minutes, stand up and stretch for 15 seconds
-- every 30 minutes, stand up and stretch for 3 minutes

I could increase this weekly. am also ordering extra under-the-desk pedals for work. (30 bucks, free shipping)

my knees won't always be able to pedal but I feel like now is the time to try and be consistent about it. i feel like they're going all wonky much quicker and more often because of general weakness.
