Castledown!

I'm in the middle of Castledown by Joyce Ballou Gregorian and really enjoying it... not having read the first book ... it is still easy to extrapolate the first book. Sibby is from modern (70s) Earth and has vague memories of adventures in a fantasy world. She's doing rehearsals for a play and hanging out with her irritating macho boyfriend and just as irritating friends who are all high and drunk and listening to two Doors albums at once on two different record players. Then... sucked into the fantasy world again where she has grown up from last time she was there. Everyone wants her to marry the prince and get pregnant so there will be an heir. And her reaction is fabulous as she tells them they're full of shit. Suddenly she's in another play, then on a slave ship in the middle of a revolt... and can control fire. OMGWTFBBQ. I love it so!
