Excellent book!
Sep. 28th, 2012 08:24 pmI'm reading Leslie Marmon Silko's Almanac of the Dead and am blown away. It's amazing! It's a fabulous, weird, dense masterpiece. I am going to read all her books. Note to self, fix her Wikipedia article.
In a lot of pain today from my back from the injection site(s) but I put away all the laundry and did the dishes. I continue breathing steam a bunch over the day, from the sink. Coughing a lot but it is less painful and my head less stuffy (clearly from the steroids ) The injection site pain makes it super clear to me that that is the pain that often fucks up my back. So, sacroiliac confirmed I guess. I see the rheumatologist again next Friday to look at the xrays.
The other day as I was making hot chocolate in my purple housedress, A. remarked, "you know, you kinda look a little bit like an old crow." It took me a second but then I said it is crone not crow and I certainly do feel like one!
