Moomin's improvised dance from last night. He starts out kind of slow and then warms up - around minute 1:00 it gets really awesome.

I love his dances - they're a side of him that most people don't see. When he was super small I would often realize he was dancing to a far off sound - either music or things like the sound of Caltrain pulling into the station a few blocks away. His improvisation & structure is very good.

No but we've been talking about doing some for a while now... am thinking here (http://www.communitystreetjam.com/dance_program/youth_dance.htm), super close to us, and they are always really good in the town parades.

me too, will never achieve it... also, he can remember lyrics to entire songs.

I like to think he gets the improv ability from me at least! If not any of the actual dancing talent (which is all rook's fault)

Aw, that was fabulous!! I hope he doesn't lose that unselfconsciousness & spontaneity as he gets older! (as I know so many ppl--like me hahaha--do, sigh)

I can't get videos embedded via lj-toys to play, unfortunately. (I think I found out why -- I have flash installed, but not shockwave... going to try to fix that.)

OMG, he's so damn cute!! And really good, actually. Dittoing the suggestions for dance lessons -- I'd love to see what kind of choreography he can do once he learns the basics and then lets loose with his own creations!

Argh! No sound at work! I'll have to watch it with sound at home. He looks like he's having a blast though ^_^

oh man, that is adorable! He makes me think of the kids from Peanuts doing their Christmas play dance. And Michael Jackson, too, kinda. Awesome.

I wish our kids could hang out (alas, geography); my son loves that song, especially the part where he gets to go "biddy biddy bop! FUNKY, FUNKY!"
