Some of the ones named that are about living with mental illness and some of them aren't and there's not much awareness of the difference between "living with mental illness" and "feeling overwhelmed by having 6 children". I could mention the issue, but don't want to call anyone out or put them on the spot, in this context. That naming pattern is definitely part of a pattern of taking a stance against a system of a male dominated world of reason and order and forced taxonomy. I have mixed feelings about the ways it is self deprecation or placatory or a declaration "this is not important" so will focus on that. Is there a particularly good (blog) link I could include that explains why that language can be hurtful? i get it, (thought I still do it - and I also still find myself saying 'lame' a fair bit) but a blog link or two would totally rock.
I could also bring that up in regard to blog names for blogs we accept, and post titles. I had some success with that in a suggested theme for this fall and people got it. But it would be more difficult to do with a huge network of thousands of bloggers.
