Hey, just fyi to my friendslist that the back injury is slowly improving but it's going to be a while before it's better.
I can walk fairly well sometimes, and have more difficulty with my right leg at others, fluctuating throughout the day, not very predictably. It's difficult to pick things up off the floor, or to get up and down from chairs. This is all painful and exhausting. But as I said, it's improving.
So if you see me on or off crutches, in and out of a wheelchair, that's why!
Diagnosis right now is a herniated disc and I have good care and physical therapy and Investigations Proceeding Onward. Maybe it will be a mere matter of weeks and maybe Months. The jury is out, along with the jelly-donut-like substance of one of my lumbar vertebral discs.
The good thing is it will get totally better. It will just take time.
No I don't really want to go to your herbalist/acupuncturist/subtle flower essence homeopathist/yoga instructor! Sorry! I appreciate the thought and intent, but just don't go there with me because really, you don't want to see the glazed look in my eyes, my knitted brow, or my slight frown of displeasure, much less go all the way and provoke the Great Impatient Ranting Lecture of Science and Medicine.
Yes I probably would love a nice neck rub, though, if asked.
