If you are curious and have a lot of time to kill, start here at the Moody restrospective and work your way up to Cactus club. I wrote all night about some of the history of how I dealt with varying degrees of disability and pain, from 1991 up till now. This, because I realized that my photo albums are very thin from that time, and out of what I do have, there are only about 6 photos of me with my wheelchair or cane as if I had been trying to edit it out, visually, from my own record.

I am posting here so that I don't have to explain over and over at Wiscon and I figure there is a good bunch of people I will see there and will want to hang out with and god knows I don't want to have to go into it NOR do I want to lose my temper and say snappy things NOR do I want to be endlessly patient as I think of diplomatic things to say. So here is a bunch of history.

The recent injection into various places in my spine did not really do much other than HURT MORE. I have ongoing dr. appts and THESE THINGS ARE OFTEN NOT CLEAR RIGHT AWAY. My best guess is that there is some sort of disc or joint damage they are not figuring out yet. The official diagnosis of the moment is problems in the synovial lining of various facet joints. So a synovial cyst and other inflammation in other joints. To me it does not sound MS-like and never did. It sounds more disc or maybe arthritis-like.

I am in physical therapy, I have doctors, I have insurance, and a job and money, and also am coping. I am often in high level of pain and if you want to help you can fetch me things and also offer to massage me. a 5 minute foot massage is like gold and keeps me going amazingly.

If anyone tells me to avoid stress or anything about my aura or blocked chakras, then I will likely beat you to death with my cane after forcing you to listen to a long, ranty, sarcastic lecture. So just don't go there!
