Fascinating LJ apology

badgerbagWell, that's pretty cool. I expected no less from SixApart... an apology and steps to work it out. I know in Internet time a day or 2 is eons, but if you think about it, it's quite fast. If only we could respond so quickly to other dumb, fucked up things that happen in this world.
When I heard about this yesterday I was appalled. And the "warriors" stuff did make me feel a bit panicky as I considered the harm organizations like that can do to society and that they could potentially do to me or people like me. I looked at GreatestJournal and backup tools and thought about moving journals. Then I decided that 6A would quite likely do something halfway decent once they saw the response... so I stayed. They're not jerks obviously. And I think they learned from the Boob Wars that it especially sucks to be mocked all over the blogosphere if you are a blogging company.
I'm glad I didn't bother to delete "snarry" from my interest list. 8-)
